Get ready for The Big Event, the biggest student-run, one-day service project in the nation!

The Big Event is an incredible way for Â鶹ÊÓƵ students to come together for one day to say "Thank You!" to Southeast Texas through community service. Our Â鶹ÊÓƵ event is modeled after The Big Event created by Texas A&M in 1982.

How do I join?

  • The Big Event is open to the whole Â鶹ÊÓƵ family - students, faculty, staff and alumni!
  • Students, faculty, staff, and alumni can register on Â鶹ÊÓƵHub

What happens at The Big Event?

  • Meet us at the McDonald Gym for the Kickoff Party.
  • We'll hand out your tools, supplies, and assignments for the day.
  • Plus, we'll have free food and music to start your day off right!
