Cadenza Magazine
Cadenza is the magazine of the Reaud Honors College and is written and edited by the college's students and staff.
Story Behind the Name
Inspired by Â鶹ÊÓƵ's award-winning magazine Cardinal Cadence, Â鶹ÊÓƵ's honors program selected a harmonious title in 2006 for our new publication — Cadenza.
Whereas "cadence" refers to the measure or beat of an overall work, a "cadenza" is a virtuosic passage, often performed by gifted soloists.
When our honors program grew into the Reaud Honors College in Fall 2014, we transformed Cadenza from a newsletter into a magazine. Cadenza continues to provide us a wonderful opportunity to share news about Â鶹ÊÓƵ's "virtuosic" students with our alumni, parents and Â鶹ÊÓƵ community.
