Charge: The Library Committee shall advise the Dean of the Library and the Provost on matters pertaining to library services and resources.
Membership & Reporting: Membership shall consist of a faculty representative elected by and from the full-time faculty of each college (with two from Arts and Sciences) as well as a representative from the Student Government Association and Lamar Institute of Technology. The Dean of the Library and Vice President of Informational Technology shall also serve as ex officio members. Faculty Senators and Deans will conduct the election for faculty members, with the chair being elected from and by the Committee members. The Committee receives its charge from the Provost, and its recommendations are presented to the Provost for further consideration.
