Dr. Linda Black serves as an associate professor in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. She received her B.A. and M.Ed. From Texas State University and her PhD. in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in History/Social Studies Education from Texas A&M University, College Station.

Dr. Black is a veteran educator with multiple years of teaching experience at the secondary and higher education levels. Her research includes educator preparation, history/social studies education, teaching world history, women’s education, and women in world history. Dr. Black’s classes emphasize hands-on experiences and interactive learning with a focus on research-based, real-world classroom application.
