Alumni Homecoming Pre-Game Party

At some point, all of us have called this address HOME.
For some of us, we may have used a map to initially find our way. Others of us, we spoke into our smartphones and an app told us where to turn. For others, it was a familiar drive across town. But no matter how we found our way, the place that began as college, eventually became our home.
We all have a different address now, but wherever you are and however you may find your way back, we hope you'll come home to 4400 S M King Jr Parkway on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Homecoming is a time to reflect on the past and celebrate where our graduates and our university are today! The blending of new experiences with old friends during each homecoming makes the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community ever stronger. Whether you graduated in 2025, 1975, somewhere in between or before, we hope you will return to campus for Homecoming 2025 and share in the legacy you helped build. Cardinals of all ages along with their friends and family are invited to join us for Homecoming! The Alumni pre-game party will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Neches Federal Credit Union Arena at the Montagne Center on the Billy Tubbs Basketball Court for those who pre-register. Registration closes on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 5:00pm as seating is limited or until sold out. We encourage early registration as this event regularly sells out. The registration fee for this event is $20 for adults (ages 18 and up), $15 for youth (ages 3-17), and free for children 2 and under. Registration for adults and youth include: a meal, dessert, 2 drink tickets (your choice of beer, water or soda), Â鶹ÊÓƵ Spirit Item, and a green section football game ticket for Homecoming (a $70 value). There will also be games, facepainting, balloon entertainment, photo booth, and a selfie station.

*Note: Homecoming Football game tickets will be handed out upon arrival to the pre-game party. Game tickets not picked up by 3:00pm, will be placed at Will-Call at Gate 1. Â鶹ÊÓƵ spirit item can only be claimed during the pre-game party while supplies last.

Football Game Tickets and Parking
Â鶹ÊÓƵ vs. UTRGV Football Game kickoff is at 3:00pm at Provost Umphrey Stadium. Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni who register for the Alumni Pre-Game party will receive green section tickets included with their event registration.
Please note: Â鶹ÊÓƵ Provost Umphrey Stadium has a clear bag policy. Fans wishing to bring bags to home athletic events cannot exceed 12 inches (by 6 inches by 12 inches) or be a clear 1 (one) gallon resealable plastic freezer storage bag (one per person). Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and have a maximum of one logo imprint not exceeding 4.5" tall X 3.4" wide. All non-clear bags or those larger than the 12 X 6 X 12 will not be permitted into Provost Umphrey Stadium. The only non-clear bags permitted are small clutch bags (with or without strap) that are the size of a hand. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at designated areas.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni not attending the Alumni Pre-Game Party may purchase tickets in the green section in advance at the discounted price of $10 each ($12.14 each with taxes and fees). Tickets may be purchased , or by calling the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Ticket Office at 409-880-1715, or visiting the ticket office in the Montagne Center in person before game day by Friday, October 17, 2025 by 3:00pm. Be sure to ask for the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni discount when calling or visiting in person. Discounted tickets will not be available on game day.
See parking map. Free parking is available in Lots E-1, C-1, C-2, C-3, and the gravel lots along Rolfe Christopher T-6, T-7, T-8, T-9, and T-10.
Single game day is available in Lot A-5. Regular price is $25. Alumni can purchase a single game day parking pass for Lot A-5 for $15 ($17.29 with taxes and fees) if purchased in advance for Homecoming. Discounted parking will not be available on game day.
Hotel and Lodging
Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the MCM Eleganté Hotel & Convention Center, 2355 IH-10 S in Beaumont, for the reduced price of $95/night + tax for a Double Tower or King Tower room while rooms last. Make your reservation by September 26, 2025, to receive this special rate. Amenities include free in-room Wi-Fi, microwave and mini refrigerator, and also includes complimentary hot breakfast for two people, outdoor pool, and fitness center. The hotel has an onsite Starbucks, day spa, restaurants, and offers free shuttle service to Jack Brooks Regional Airport. Pets are allowed with a refundable deposit.
